Whipped Cream

A favorite past-time of most people (I assume) is squirting whipped cream from the can into our mouths. While homemade whipped cream doesn't have the same excitement of spraying from the can, the taste definitely out weighs the nostalgic loss.


 

WHIPPED CREAM (CHANTILLY CREAM)

makes about 1 1/2 cups of Whipped Cream


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream

  • 2 Tbsp Powdered Sugar

  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place bowl that will be used in the freezer for 10 minutes.

  2. After bowl has chilled, combine heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla in the bowl. Whisk with a stand mixer or hand-held mixer until stiff peaks form and the cream is light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.

  3. Store remaining Whipped Cream in an air-tight container in the fridge for a week.
