Restaurant Style Blender Salsa

Salsa is one of my favorite foods. It's simple, fresh, and the perfect addition to so many foods and dishes.

When I was 2 or 3, I was known to drink salsa from the bowls they give you at Mexcian restaurants. And I continued to devour it and love it. I still devour and love it!

I even judge a Mexican restaurant based of their Chips & Salsa. Yep. It's true.

This salsa is so easy and muy delicioso! A fiesta in your mouth, and heart!

RESTAURANT STYLE BLENDER SALSA

makes about 3-4 cups

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup Onion, roughly chopped

  • 1 clove Garlic

  • 1/2 of a Jalapeño, seeds removed (or keep for more spice)

  • 10 oz can Diced tomatoes with Green Chiles, drained

  • 14.5 oz can Fire Roasted Tomatoes with juices ( or use regular diced tomatoes)

  • 1/2 tsp of Sugar

  • 1/4 tsp Salt (start off with this and add more if needed after blending)

  • 1/4 tsp Cumin (start off with this and add more if needed after blending)

  • 1/2 cup Cilantro leaves

  • Juice of a lime

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and pulse until desired consistency. (not very long at all)

  2. Serve!

*Adjust the heat level and seasonings to your taste. If the jalapeño is mild, you might end up using the whole thing.
