Crockpot BBQ Pulled Chicken

These BBQ Pulled Chicken Sliders on my 30 Minute Rolls topped with homemade fried onions are the perfect summer meal! Just throw everything in the crockpot and you're set.


 

CROCKPOT BBQ PULLED CHICKEN


INGREDIENTS:

  • 4–5 Chicken Breasts

  • 2 cups BBQ Sauce (I use Sweet Baby Ray's)

  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar Packed

  • 2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil

  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder

  • 1/2 tsp Paprika

  • 1/4 tsp Crushed Red Pepper


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and crushed red pepper in bowl.

  2. Place chicken breast in crockpot and pour the sauce over it.

  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high 3-4 hours.

  4. About an hour before serving, shred chicken with two forks.

  5. Stir well to coat with BBQ sauce.

  6. Serve on rolls or buns.
